Apres Ski - Marmot Basin

Relax with friends in Marmot Basin's Caribou Lounge. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Marmot's Caribou Lounge, enjoy drink specials and an afternoon snack between 2:00pm and 5:00pm each weekend. The full menu will be offered until 4:30pm, the bar will be open until 5:00pm and a complimentary shuttle will be running back to the parking lots as well as into Jasper at 5:15pm.

Dark Sky Snowshoe > Night Vision Edition

Experience Jasper's star rich dark skies or moonlit skies and learn all about some of the nocturnal adaptations that help the animals of the park see in the dark.
So here's where the thirst for knowledge and learning comes into play. Parks Canada Interpreters will be at Marmot Meadows this winter offering fun interpretive programs for everyone to enjoy.
Join an interpreter around the fire for stories while trying your hand at new skills, like making a fire with flint and steel or cooking bannock on a stick. On some weekends we will even have hot chocolate and S'mores!
Every weekend we will offer a wildlife camera safari where you will do a bit of hiking or snowshoeing > depending on the conditions. Along the way you can practice wildlife tracking and learn how trail cameras are helping us better understand the park's wildlife.
A traditional tipi will also be set up where Aboriginal programs and cultural teachings will occur in and around the tipi.

Live Music: The Johnny Mccuaig Band

Enjoy Canadian Johnny McCuaig Band's rich, cultural mosaic to create an original mix of musical genres that stands out in the crowd. We're talking a super fun blend of hard rock, pop, new wave, folk, and blues combined with their not-so-secret weapon: bagpipes! 18+
